The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

I want you to know something. Right here. Right now. 

The Author of the universe is writing a story... 

But, you see, this isn't just any story. This is life; the life I've come to believe and rest my hope and identity in. 

...Beginning years ago, with a perfect earth crafted by the Creator in pure beauty and light.

Soon, humanity enters the scene, created out of His Love and desire to enjoy life with us. He planned a party before time began, and He wanted us to join. 

But then, the terrible happened. 

We chose an alternative, thinking we could outdo the Perfect Party Planner; reasoning that we didn't need Him to live a full life. We were fatally deceived into believing our way was better than His way (The most catastrophic lie we could ever fall for). And with that, we ditched His perfect plan for a deceptive, imperfect one.  The most tragic mistake in all of history. 

Humanity became broken and incomplete, searching for whatever can fill our profound emptiness; like one giant puzzle with a missing piece. Don't you see it? Like a glitch in the system, our world has gone awry. Something IS missing. This world, this life, is not right. 

But thank God it doesn't end there!

He is on a mission to restore and redeem. 

He sent Himself, the exact representation of His being, to enter into time and humanity. Out of the purest form of love, He embraced the cost of all our sins. He became the ultimate sacrifice, taking the toll of death to break our never-ending hopelessness and give us another chance. He bridged the gap between our brokenness and His glorious perfection, so we could have the choice to be with Him again, and in turn, experience freedom like none other. 

Notice I use past tense because He has come. Now, we stand in the present. And this freedom is still available. His invitation still stands. He wants you to experience the fullest life. So much so, He is relentless in His pursuit to bring you there. 

He's saying as He's been saying all this time,

"Come, 

All who are weary. I will bring rest.

All who are confused. I will bring clarity.

All who are hurting. I will bring healing.

All who are heavily-burdened. I will bring freedom.

Come to Me."

This party is a relationship with the Creator. It promises a future of immeasurable joy and unspeakable peace. Where the dancing, the singing, the laughter, the sense of belonging never ends. We get to have a taste of it now, and more comes later. He knows this is the best life and He's calling you to it.
